The aroma and smoke of the incense gradually spread over the course of about an hour. During this time, you might open a notebook, meditate, or simply close your eyes and unwind. Watching the incense burn and enjoying its fragrance allows you to sink into a moment that is entirely your own. This is our offering for Yohaku.

How to use the Scent Clock
1. Prepare a stable, non-flammable tray large enough to prevent the incense and ash from spilling out.

2. Light one end of the incense. Once it ignites, gently fan it with your hand to extinguish it, leaving only a thin trail of smoke rising quietly.

3. Align the incense with the groove in the brass holder.

4. Keeping the incense parallel to the tray, gently press it into the groove. Avoid touching the lit end.
