A visit to MD PRODUCT POP UP Showcase at M.Lovewell
An MD PRODUCT POP UP Showcase Event was hosted at M. Lovewell from July 25th to August 16th in Santa Ana, California. This event featured a special corner exhibiting the craft of MD PAPER as well as event-limited items for visitors to purchase. MD PRODUCT USA staff popped over to Orange County for a visit at this local favorite among paper lovers.
The showcase featured an exhibition that brought MD PRODUCT’s brand concept to life, including a cloud-like installation of MD PAPER featuring writing samples, artwork, and sketches that demonstrated its versatility. Many visitors lingered, testing the smooth feel of MD Notebooks and imagining new ways to incorporate them into their everyday life.
An exhibition that turns ideas into experience
A highlight of the Showcase Event was the debut of the MD Notebook A5 Blank – Artist Collaboration: Mikiko Amemiya.
Mikiko Amemiya, a dentist and artist, created original calligraphy as the cover artwork which beautifully expresses the concept of the MD Notebook: quiet, purposeful, and made to be lived in. Alongside it, the MD PAPER Block was introduced. This item contains 500 sheets of MD PAPER, and it comes in a variety of sizes; sheets can be easily torn off for you to use for your notes, sketches, and daily thoughts.
Limited edition products and the pleasure of writing
Beyond feeling and trying MD PAPER and MD Notebooks, the event guests were able to learn about MD PRODUCT’s new vision: “Pausing moves you forward.” Through hands-on opportunities, visitors could explore what it means to slow down and pause in your everyday life. It’s in these moments of calm that we can reflect, reset, and return to what matters.
As MD PRODUCT continues to share its vision around the world, we’re excited to bring our paper experience to new locations in the US. The next MD PRODUCT POP UP Event will be held at Bungu Los Angeles from Oct 17–18. We will provide more information about this event soon.
